Longtime NJBIA member Saiber LLC on Tuesday revealed the addition of Marc D. Freedman as member and Steven M. Friedland as counsel in a move that enhances the Florham Park law practice's Business Services and Employment practices.

This strategic growth shows Saiber's commitment to strengthening its business and M&An abilities, with a particular concentrate on industry-specific solutions for clients in the staffing sector and beyond.

Both attorneys sign up with Saiber from the boutique company Freedman & Friedland LLC of Hasbrouck Heights, bringing years of experience in business and work law, especially within the staffing industry.

Freedman, a skilled business lawyer, joins the Services group as a member. With a substantial background in employment and business law and mergers & acquisitions, he brings deep knowledge of the legal and service concerns impacting staffing business and other industries.

He previously functioned as general counsel and senior executive officer for among the biggest public companies in the short-term work sector. His comprehensive experience consists of corporate acquisitions, securities compliance, labor relations, safeguarding companies in discrimination matters and class actions, restrictive covenant litigation, risk management, and tactical consulting for senior executives.

Freedman is presently general counsel to the New Jersey Staffing Alliance and previously served in similar roles with national staffing associations.

Friedland will join the firm as counsel in the Litigation practice group. With a focus on employment law and litigation, he brings over 20 years of experience safeguarding companies in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters before federal and state courts and administrative companies, along with representing companies in business lawsuits.

He also regularly counsels customers on daily office matters and drafts different arrangements, policies, and compliance products. Previously, Friedland practiced employment and labor law at two firms with a national presence.
